Description
Un élément hydrographique de surface correspond à une unité surfacique contenant un milieu aquatique superficiel :
- les zones couvertes d'eau douce permanente ou non permanente,
- les zones couvertes d'eau salée permanente ou non permanente,
- les glaciers, névés.
et dont les caractéristiques (attributs) sont homogènes. Un élément surfacique est localisé par une face. Certains attributs sont gérés par l'IGN : Nature, type
