L'occupation du sol fait l'objet d'une typologie en un nombre de postes variable selon l'origine des données.
Origine
fabriqué le plus souvent à partir de photographies aériennes. Les limites de polygones représentent la transition entre 2 occupations dominantes et ne sont pas toujours matérialisées sur le terrain.
