Description

This project provides a data-driven analysis of healthcare disparities in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. While traditional medical density often masks local realities, this report utilizes the Localized Potential Accessibility (APL) indicator to provide a more accurate geographic and demographic diagnostic.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Professional Analysis: Covers General Practitioners, Dentists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, and Midwives.
  • Temporal Evolution: Tracks the "Scissor Effect" between the declining supply of GPs and the rising number of paramedical professionals from 2016 to 2022.
  • Sanitary Fragility Score (SFS): A custom composite index identifying areas of cumulative vulnerability.
  • The "Invisible Desert" Matrix: An innovative visualization crossing population data with accessibility scores to identify high-risk urban and semi-urban areas.

The project could provide local decision-makers with a precise mapping tool to target healthcare investments and identify priority "Red Zones" for practitioner installation.
