SENIOR DATASET

This dataset contains participant characteristics and vitality capacity biomarkers from a cohort of 40 healthy adults aged 55 years and older. The cohort comprises 20 males and 20 females, including 20 lifelong physically active and 20 lifelong physically inactive participants.

All participants were free of chronic disease, were non-smokers or had abstained from smoking for more than 3 years, and female participants were postmenopausal with menopause confirmed for at least 6 months.

Written informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to study participation. The study was approved by the Comité de Protection des Personnes Île-de-France II (approval no. 2024-A01310-47).
