E-GRAFS Scenario Inputs — French Agriculture 2050

The files support the analyses reported in the preprint “Exploring the Futures of French Agricultural and Food Systems: Biophysical Modeling and Analysis of Contrasting Visions Towards 2050” (Fauste-Gay et al., 2026).

The dataset provides input parameter sets for 16 prospective configurations of French agriculture in 2050, inspired by publicly available documents from diverse stakeholder groups (think tanks, farmers’ unions, and political parties). The scenarios enable comparative analyses of nitrogen and carbon metabolism, trade exposure, and competing biomass uses (food, feed, energy, exports).
